I have been on three Ambientravel cruises: in 2010, 2011 and 2012. The organization was really good. The private parties, the excursions in each port… In 2017 my partner and I will repeat the New Year’s cruise. They are great fun and the team is amazing!

At Ambientravel we organize closed groups on gay-friendly itineraries. That means it’s not a 100% gay cruise; but that won’t be a problem for you to enjoy it your way.
No, you don’t need a companion; on many of our cruises you’ll find the option to book a single cabin. In some we even offer the option to share a double cabin with another cruiser of similar age. That way you can travel alone at a more economical price.

They’re your holidays, so… you decide!
At Ambientravel.com we organize exclusive activities on board for our group, such as the Secret Friend game (to break the ice) or our private parties. In most ports, we also offer a Spanish-language tour with a local guide that you can book before boarding.
In addition, the ships we sail on offer countless leisure activities, a wide range of dining options, cultural events on board and, of course, bars and nightclubs on every ship (just in case our parties aren’t enough for you).
Add to that the jacuzzis, swimming pools, solariums, gyms, spa… On every ship you sail on, you’ll experience exactly the atmosphere you want to experience.
Once on board, you decide what to do each day and each night. You can plan your trip before boarding, or simply go with the flow.
Although at Ambientravel.com we organize activities for our group and during dinner times we usually have all seats assigned at the same tables in the main restaurant, there is absolutely no need to socialize if you don’t want to.
Whether you travel alone or with someone else, you choose whether you want to experience it with the group or prefer a more private trip at your own pace.
And if you come with the intention of making new friends, you’ll find it very easy. Not only because of the activities and parties, or by sharing tours or running into each other while strolling around the ship. Before each cruise, we also create a Telegram group for those who want to start getting to know each other (or say hello again if they already know one another) before boarding.
On each cruise page, you’ll find all the trip information, the price, what’s included, and a form. To make your reservation, you must fill out the form with your details and, once completed, make a payment. You can choose whether to make the full payment for your trip or leave a deposit.
Once we confirm your reservation, we take care of everything with the cruise line. If you book a package including flights or hotel reservations, we will also handle everything and keep you informed at all times.
Yes.
If, when making your reservation, you choose to leave a deposit, you can pay the rest of your cruise at your own pace through our online payment gateway. When you go to make the payment, we will ask for your reservation number and the amount you wish to pay.
You will have up to TWO MONTHS before the trip departure date to pay the full amount of your reservation. If you do not, we will have to cancel it and we will refund the amount paid minus administration fees.
On the information page for each of our cruises, you can clearly see what is included, what is optional, and what is not included in the price.
In many cases, what is included depends on the cruise line itself. In general, all cruises include full board accommodation and access to the ship’s events, as well as embarkation fees and gratuities (except on Costa Cruises, where gratuities must be paid individually once on board).
The price also includes, of course, access to all Ambientravel.com private activities and parties on board the ship.
On some cruises, there are additional options that can be added to the base price, such as travel and cancellation insurance or a flight pack or vacation extension. In these cases, the price will be specified on the page.
When you fill out the reservation form and select the options you want, you will see the final price and have a clear view of everything included. There will be no surprises once on board.
No, our private excursions are not included in the price.

If we don’t offer the option or it doesn’t interest you, the cruise lines usually provide their own options (though they are generally more expensive and almost always in English).
A few weeks before your cruise sets sail, we will enable a page on the website where you can book the excursions that interest you online, and we will send you the link privately. This way, you can organize your plans before departure. You can also purchase tickets for the tours once on board, although in that case we cannot guarantee availability and the price will be higher.
Once we have sold out all the available spots on each cruise, it is possible that the cruise line may open the option to secure additional cabins for our group. In that case, we will notify you that your reservation will be placed on the Waiting List.
You can make your reservation as usual, and as we secure more spots, we will assign them in order of registration.
If we are unable to secure additional cabins, or if the cabins we obtain are not the type you selected, we will offer you the option to change your choice or cancel your reservation. In the latter case, we will refund the amount you have paid.
We do it ourselves!
Depending on the duration and itinerary of the cruise, we organize several private parties and events, such as a Secret Friend game on the first night to break the ice, parties with shows by our Drag Queens and music by our Resident DJ Ari Korrales, or our Costume Party (with a prize for the best costume!).
Over the years, we’ve hosted collaborations with some of our favorite parties on board, such as Churros con Chocolate or the iconic ¡Qué Trabaje Rita!, and we’ve invited international artists on board, including Nebulossa (Spain’s representatives at Eurovision) and La Prohibida.
The Ambientravel brand operates under the Technical Organization of Viatges Termetours S.L.
Yes, our staff always travels with the Ambientravel group to organize activities and resolve any questions or issues you may encounter on board.
When you fill out the reservation form, we will ask for the details of an Emergency Contact in case of any incident and we need to notify them.
In addition, Ambientravel staff will be available 24 hours a day during the trip to assist you with anything you need. All the ships we sail on include medical and hospital services.
And if you want extra protection to feel safer and enjoy your vacation worry-free, you can purchase our Travel and Cancellation Insurance.

When you are finalizing your reservation, you can choose to purchase our Travel and Cancellation Insurance, which, if you have already paid the full amount for your cruise, usually covers trip cancellation in most circumstances.
If you haven’t completed your reservation payment yet and want to cancel, we will refund your money minus administration fees.
If you want to make a change (such as upgrading your cabin or canceling an extra), you can contact us and we will handle it for you.
